I’m in love with Pippa Bacca
Two women, two artists dressed as brides. A journey to Jerusalem through countries shaken by war. 6,000 kilometers to be traveled by hitchhiking, to celebrate the union between peoples and to show that by trusting others, one receives only kindness.
This was the intention of Pippa Bacca and Silvia Moro when, on March 8, 2008, they set off from Milan with the goal of staging a performance in the name of peace.
In every place, they would meet ordinary people and fellow artists, be hosted by associations, and present their performances in art galleries or other venues where art serves as a form of communication and unity. A complex project, with the protagonists performing 24 hours a day in their wedding dresses.
The film tells the story of this extraordinary journey, bearer of a powerful message of peace, which was tragically and painfully cut short 23 days after it began.
It is the story of Pippa’s art and life.
